− THIS HOTEL IS CLOSED; IT SHOULD NOT BE TAKING BOOKINGS THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND WILL NOT REFUND. TO BE CLEAR, THE HOTEL IS NOT TRADING, IS NOT OPEN BUT STILL TAKING BOOKINGS. I turned up, phoned, only to be told that they have been closed for months and Booking.com should know this. However, somebody is taking the payment, and despite my request for a cancellation, I have not heard anything back. I presume somebody thinks it's an easy way of making free money My trip was almost ruined, but thankfully found a hotel next door. Booking.com has been useless. I have informed the police
