Scam charges - fined for the pet included in the reservation
2.0I reserved a pet-friendly room, included in the notes on my reservation that I was traveling with one 50# dog. After returning home, I get hit with a $250 fine because their staff assigned me a non-pet room and are now charging me for having a pet in it. So again: I reserved a room for a dog (and 2 humans), brought the dog, stayed in the room they assigned me, and now they've charged my credit card a $250 fine on top of the room reservation cost. This would be a fine basic hotel if not for the extortion. Do not stay here, who knows what they'll bill you for later.
