Horrible due to fragrance

Your fragrance is torturing people. Do you have any idea how many are fragrance sensitive allergic or just dislike artificial, chemically based fragrances? There is now a class action suit against Marriott and other businesses that use these fragrances. Just because you may like it, you have no clue how many people react with headaches, nausea, sneezing etc. The hotel is beautiful but I can no longer enter due to your fragrance.

− Restaurant und Rooftop waren geschlossen. Ich habe ein Zimmer mit teilweise Aussicht gebucht. War im 4 stock und hatte keine Aussicht. Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, an den Seiten abgenutzt

Hotel is beautiful but not worth the nightly rate.

The hotel was beautiful, clean & close to downtown Sarasota making it convenient to walk everywhere. Overall, the hotel was great and the room was specious and clean. We were chosen as guests of the day & they gave us a free bottle of wine which was amazing!

− $45 to valet park was excessive. We chose to park in the parking garage but still had to pay $25. Also I didn’t like that a $28 amenity fee was added on to our bill even though we didn’t utilize anything that was “included” in that fee. I think it should be added only if you choose to utilize the services. Overall, the property was nice but I’m not sure it was worth the $300 / night price tag.

I had an amazing stay, and a huge part of that was thanks to Gaby and Gabriela at the front desk. They are truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with genuine smiles, kindness, and incredible professionalism. They were always happy to help with anything we needed, gave us great recommendations, answered every question with patience, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Their positive energy, warmth, and attention to detail made a real difference and turned a great hotel into an unforgettable experience. It’s rare to meet people who care so much about making guests feel welcome, and Gaby and Gabriela do exactly that every single day. Thank you both for going above and beyond. You are the best, and I hope to see you again on my next visit!

Great hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. A special shoutout to Tony from valet—he was professional, friendly, and provided excellent service every time. He really made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay at the Art Ovation Hotel! The accommodations were great, the food was amazing, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to Jim, the shuttle driver. He was incredibly responsive and personable. Another shout-out to Tom at the bar. He was a fantastic bartender, always welcoming, and great to talk with. -Jamie
