10.0Wir haben 4 Nächte in der Ndlovu Safari Lodge verbracht und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Von unseren beiden Zimmern sowie vom Haupthaus aus hatten wir einen wunderschönen Blick in die Natur, in der regelmäßig Zebras, Kudus, Warzenschweine und sogar Elefanten vorbeizogen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber das außergewöhnliche Personal. Sie haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Unser Guide April war sehr kompetent und hat sein Wissen über Tiere und Natur mit großer Begeisterung geteilt. Dank seines guten Auges haben wir beeindruckende Tierbeobachtungen gemacht, meistens hat er die Tiere vor allen anderen Rangern als Erster entdeckt. Jan und Zack haben uns vor Ort rundum aufmerksam betreut. Sie waren herzlich, humorvoll und haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt, ohne dabei je aufdringlich zu sein, Einfach großartig. Kulinarisch wurden wir ebenfalls verwöhnt, wir haben selten so gut gegessen. Vielen Dank an Simon, Peter und das gesamte Team! Auch das Housekeeping war hervorragend. Wir sind am ersten Tag später angekommen und konnten gegen Aufpreis abgeholt werden! Das hat super geklappt und wir wussten vorher Bescheid. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

10.0Ndlovu is a stunning property. The facilities are first class. The lavish villas have abundant private indoor and outdoor spaces to relax (and cool off - the plunge pool overlooking the river was a real treat). Fancy a bath? You’ll have to decide between the enormous indoor tub, or the stylish outdoor clawfoot bath. The beds are super comfortable - fans, air-con and mosquito nets ensure a peaceful sleep. The main lodge spaces are just as inviting. Multiple places to relax (on the deck, watching the ever-entertaining zebras, warthogs, kudu), by the main pool, or inside the lounge. The staff are exceptional. Our guide, April, was extremely knowledgeable and generous with his expertise. As well as amazing sightings of a huge range of animals, we learned about the properties of various plants, about how the environment was being managed, and various tidbits about animal behaviour. An unbeatable experience. Timmy managed the food and beverage service at the lodge like a star. Warm and friendly service (and maker of an excellent gin and tonic with a twist!). Absolute highlight of our trip to South Africa.
