10.0It was located on the main street of Tynemouth. We could see the sea at the end of the road. We were not disturbed by noise. There were lots of well rated cafes and restaurants. The owner was very friendly, available and helpful without at any point being intrusive. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and to provide what we needed. We were very pleased and would return if in the area.
Hidden gem
10.0Brilliant find. Located right on the high street next to many bars & restaurant yet very quiet in the rooms. Lovely host who was very welcoming. Well appointed rooms and gorgeous breakfast taken in the tea room which is a hidden gem. Will definitely return

10.0A very nice place in a very good position, I was given a very warm welcome when checking in and shown to my room. The hotel is clean and very well looked after. I would have no hesitation in recommending staying here if you are visiting the area.

10.0Fabulous stay, everything from the exceptional service, to the room, cleanliness, location and breakfast, we couldn't fault a thing! We stayed in The Collingwood room, the balcony has an amazing view, and the room had lots of lovely extra touches. We were celebrating my partners birthday, the team at Tynemouth 61 went above and beyond to make it extra special, bringing him a cupcake and a card at breakfast, the singing was fab too 😁 Thankyou so much, we will definately be back, look forward to seeing you all again soon.
