10.0Food was excellent. One evening meal in particular was exceptional. Bar atmosphere was lively with good quality beers. Bedroom very comfortable and shower/bath was brilliant.
− Nature of the building means no air conditioning so bedrooms were uncomfortably hot, but it was during a heatwave!
High quality country vibe
10.0Three location was great. Very close to a stately home we wanted to visit. The village was very beautiful. The pub itself and rooms were immaculate. A lot of thought had gone into the details.
− Breakfast was very expensive. Dinner was worth it.... but a bowl of Granola and yoghurt is not. So only had breakfast here 1 morning.
Beautiful place, quirky and historic and staff really care; but on the expensive side.
8.0Beautiful old buildings, listed and very well done; good bar, restaurant, outside areas to eat and drink. Staff outstanding and food very high quality generally. Rooms comfortable and well furnished, bathroom and shower excellent

9.0Perfect location for Penshurst place, great breakfast, room was comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly
− For a slightly older couple the walk up to 2nd floor was a challenge
