Relaxing stay with great hosts and breakfast
10.0Traditional, relaxed, cozy.
I’d stay there again if I was ever in Hadleigh again.
8.0I left early so a breakfast baguette was left out for me in the fridge. So avoiding comment on the full breakfast. I loved the place but it was a bit small, but for a very comfy relaxing one night it was perfect.
Excellent overnight stay in a great pub with friendly hosts
8.0Pub with lots of character. Very friendly hosts
− No restaurant
Great compact location for a short stay - friendly owners and staff.
9.0Wonderful old thatched coaching inn. The pub/bar itself is a lovely space to spend some time, with colourful local characters. And a welcome cool space during what was , the hottest weekend on record for the area. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, using wonderful delicious local produce for the sausage, bacon and eggs (eggs poached to perfection!) . Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating, but never overstepping into intrusion on your stay. The location is perfect for exploring teh locla area, a village shop right next door.
− This is a quaint old thatched inn, so the building itself is of its era, that is low ceilings and small cottage type rooms. Our room was the smallest, and very small indeed. But for a 3 night stay, it was adequate. I might wear a bit thin to constantly dance around bags and cases if you were staying for a longer period. Very little hanging space too – its just the room size limits, not poor planning. Orange juice could have been fresher/not from concentrate. They dont provide evening meals or lunches, but do reccommend takaways or local restuarants, which are a short car journey or Taxi away. No EV charging.
Great place to stay in Suffolk
10.0Lovely old building and a cosy room. Breakfast was amazing. Julie and Stephen were exceptional hosts.
Would definitely recommend
9.0Booked for a friend who was very impressed. Early access to room so dress for a wedding, then late arrival easy after wedding.
