6.0Very disappointed. I did not like being welcomed by a gigantic political painted sign on the outside of the building (it wasn’t graffiti). The entry courtyard is dim. The decor in the room we had didn’t match at all and wasn’t in the best shape. The bathroom was very dark with all black tile on every wall and in the shower. We had a sliver of soap at the sink and one body wash in the shower to use for everything, I guess. Just wasn’t a welcoming environment. The person who checked us in seemed to be going through the motions. I expected a lot more of this hotel and was disappointed.
Okay for short term, ants in room
6.0It was an okay place to stay. The location was very central and easy to walk to from the train station. Check-in was quick and staff was very friendly. The room was fine when we checked in but I later noticed so many ants crawling everywhere, especially in the bathroom. The electronic lock also didn't work for our room but luckily they have a physical key for us to use instead. The AC also didn't work but at least there was a ceiling fan and it wasn't too hot. Also no fridge in the room. It was fine for the one night we needed but I wouldn't recommend this spot to my friends.

A beautiful hideaway
10.0Fantastic little hotel, we had room 15 and we were greeted with a hammock in our indoor balcony.. . The room had style, the bed so comfy, a silent room and a peaceful night's sleep. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We only had a one stay on passing through, but without doubt we would return if we're ever in Faro again
