Die Unterkunft liegt zentral. Die Matratze ist perfekt. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Auch war eine Klimaanlage vorhanden Das Wetter war bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr heiss. DANKE.

− Ein kleiner Tisch beim Fenster wäre ein Gewinn. Ich hätte fort gerne gefrühstückt.

− We hadden niet verwacht dat we zelf toiletpapier en koffie cups ( er waren alleen decaf cups) moesten kopen.

− The place is in middle of the town. Everything is nearby.

− The host showed up over an hour late to hand over the keys — we had to wait outside in the street as she would keep saying "im on my way" every time. When she arrived we said something about it, but the response was shocking: she raised her voice, turned aggressive, and actually threatened to cancel our reservation on the spot. We were very stressed, and the delay cost us a pre-booked tour. The apartment added insult to injury: - The "AC" is a portable cooler requiring a hose out the window — so it stays open all night. Between street construction and a bar downstairs, sleep was nearly impossible. The unit barely cooled the room regardless. - The bed is crammed between a wall and a piece of furniture, making it a struggle for one person to get in and out. - The kitchen light and coffee maker didn't work. Would not recommend under any circumstances. ***In response to the host's reply: Regarding the wine: the signage was not clear. Regardless, I was willing to pay — she said she would send a payment link and never did. Accusing me of "refusing to pay" for a charge she never actually sent is inaccurate. Regarding the arrival time: the platform chat shows I informed her on the morning of May 27 that we would arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. She replied "Thank you, Paula. See you later" — confirming the window. There was no miscommunication. Regarding the wait: after I notified her we had arrived at 3:13 pm, she said she would take 30 minutes and took over an hour and 15. I messaged her repeatedly asking if she was coming or whether we should find somewhere to leave our luggage — she kept saying she was on her way, leaving us no option to go anywhere. Regarding her attitude: she arrived and said "thanks for waiting." I replied that she had taken over an hour when she said 30 minutes. That is when she became aggressive — not the other way around.

Nice cosy appartment right in the middle of the old city of Basel. Just a few steps from all the historical highlights. Violet is a very helpful friendly host.

Die Lage ist grossartig und das historische Gebäude sowie das AP. sehr charmant.

− Der Zugang ist schwer zu finden: Die Selbstbezeichnung Swisshome erweckt den Eindruck eines gewerblichen Anbieters, tatsächlich ist es eine private Überlassung von privaten Wohnraum. Am Klingelschild ist es nicht ersichtlich/angeschrieben und wir hatten Mühe Schlüssel und Eingang zu finden,. Fazit: Es ist. Erforderlich die Angaben fürs Check-In genau zu studieren, aber es lohnt sich.
