Most over priced hotel I ever visited in over 250 global trips
1.0people were nice
− The most overpriced hotel I have ever visited in over 250 trips globally. Over $600 US for a room that was so small it could only fit 2 single beds and no chairs. It had peeling wallpaper. While no view was stipulated-the only window looked out on a mud garden 2 ft from the window. All of this is ok for a room that cost less than $250US. The hotel says their pricing is competitive with other Skye accomodations. I doubt it. The only thing they said that was true when I asked them about this is that accommodations on Skye are limited. I don't think that should allow these people to gouge visitors. Charge a fair price and sell out. PS one can stay almost anywhere else in Scotland in 4 star rooms for less than 2/3's of this cost. Bunchrew in Inverness and the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton for instance. Skye is great but It may require staying elsewhere.
