Good location in Portree
8.0A comfortable hotel 5 minutes walk from downtown Portree. Clean mid-sized rooms with air conditioning. The hotel restaurant is expensive with fairly good food. Service was very good.
Modern & beautiful
10.0Beautiful, clean, and modern hotel with lovely garden. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. The rooms were a good size and plenty of modern amenities. It was the best sleep I had in Scotland thanks to no noise and black out curtains. Staff were helpful. We had a problem at breakfast when the cook never showed up and we had a tour to get to. Staff were apologetic, but we waited ages for "to go" boxes. They apologized, but didn't make amends. Also ate dinner at the hotel. Food was good, but definitely on the expensive side.
