Great location but can be noisy at night.

Rafael is a brilliant host, very welcoming, helpful and responsive. The property is well located near to the beach and restaurants. The property is an older one with character. The kitchen has all the basic things needed, the dinning room and lounge are comfortable. We were not able to use the garden much as the parasol was broken and was away for repair.

− Despite the great location to the beach, it is a built up residential area and most nights there was noise from the adjoining street till 2-3 am. As a result, you are not able to have the windows open and there is no air conditioning so very warm at night. The twos fans provided some limited relief. The double bed needs replacing as it makes a lot of noise when you turn over during the night.

Accueil parfait, disponibilité ok. La maison est très bien située, proximité commerces et plage (Praia da rocha). Tout peut se faire à pied en 5 minutes. La place de parking est vraiment un plus en saison (août). Les équipements correspondent à l'annonce.

− Le grincement du sommier et du matelas du grand lit est vraiment désagréable. Le bruit, la nuit, est vraiment pénible, certainement dû à la proximité des commerces.

Would definitely book again.

The inside and outside spaces were nicely decorated. The hot tub outside was a really nice feature as well as the BBQ.

− Some of the mattresses were not as comfortable as others but that was minor.

Wunderbares Haus mit belebter Nachbarschaft

Der Vermieter hat uns bei Ankunft empfangen, wir hatten Verspätung, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Auch während des Aufenthaltes hat sich der Vermietern super gekümmert. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und entspricht genau den Beschreibungen. Die Außenanlage war scheinbar ganz neu hergerichtet, den Whirlpool haben wir sehr genossen. Für ein kleines Fahrzeug ist ein Parkpatz auf dem Grundstück. Angesichts der wilden Parksituatin in Portimao eine tolle Sache. Das Haus liegt wirklich zentral, nur ein paar Minuten vom Strand und der Flaniermeile von Portimao

− Es gibt nur eine Sache, die uns nicht gefallen hat: Der Lärm aus den Nachbargebäude. Es handelt sich um ein Haus, dass offenbar vornehmlich für junge Reisende für Jungesellenabschiede und Ähnliches vermietet wird. In den 14 Tage, in denen wir vor Ort waren, wurde dort gerne bis tief in die Nach draußen gefeiert. Trotz Wärme musste man die Fenster schließen. wobei der Lärm auch dann zu hören ist. Schade, weil das Haus ansonsten ein echtes Juwel ist.
