THE bed and breakfast you should chose when in Oaxaca!
10.0Absolute recommended for your stay in Oaxaca! It’s very close to the centre but just far enough to have very quiet nights. The beds are very comfortable and the 5 rooms decorated with much care. The breakfast is very charming, with always a local option being offered. But above all is the extremely kind and helpful staff. There is always someone there 24/7 to not only open the main door for you (great security) but also to respond to your questions and give recommendations (from what to do, which tour or cooking class to book or where to wash your laundry). You can leave your luggage with them if you’re leaving late and there’s a bathroom to use and get changed. We had a great time in Oaxaca and above all in La Casa Carlota!

10.0My stay at Casa Carlota was absolutely wonderful. The facilities are excellent, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but what truly makes this place special is its people. Every single member of the team is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They made me feel at home from the very first moment. One of my favorite details was breakfast. Every day they prepare something different and typical of the region, which makes the start of the day a special experience and a great way to discover Oaxacan culture. A very special thank you to Dulce and her family. They are, without a doubt, the kindest and most caring people I have ever encountered in a hotel. Their hospitality goes far beyond excellent service—they genuinely make you feel like part of the family. I was very happy during my time in Oaxaca. The city itself is amazing, but the Casa Carlota team made the experience even more memorable. They are truly some of the sweetest, friendliest, and most genuine people I have ever met. P.S. The location is perfect—close to everything you might want to visit. And the terrace is an amazing place to end the day: put on some soft music, enjoy a glass of mezcal, and appreciate the beautiful Oaxacan evenings.

10.0Very kind staff. Need to use translator as most of the staff does not speak English. They gave us excellent recommendations for Oaxaca and tour company. The location is very convenient. The room and beds comfortable. Shower was good and hot. Great breakfast which changed every day. Nice roof top to take adrink up ans relax after day of touring. Worth the money.
