Good spot for smaller people
7.0Quiet location, beautiful view from private balcony.
− Tiny ants all over bathroom. Not enough tables or hooks to put belongings when using bathroom. A-frame felt confining to bigger person.
Pleasant stay- though Branson is overly commercialized
10.0Very clean Rooms/
− Not Enough staff to ask questions around Kayak and its operational time
We had a wonderful time, mainly came to see friends that live there! We stayed in a little A frame cabin that was just
9.0Loved the location just off the water!
Miserable
1.0The location was fine, cabin was cute & clean & Belinda & Chris was nice.
− From our cabin #8 we couldn’t see the lake as well as the website showed. Too many trees. If you stay in the BLUE CABINS, they have great views, the RUST CABINS , not as good of a view. Didn’t know that at time of booking, the website only showed the blue cabins. The couch has seen it better days, sunk down 3 to 4 inches when setting & hard to get out of IF you’re older or have knee problems, which I don’t. The mattress for pull out bed was a JOKE , 2 inches thick BEFORE you lay on it, and when you do lay on it , I could feel the rails . Couldn’t sleep on it….. the King size bed was SO HARD, OUR BACKS , HIPS HURT,AND MY ARMS KEEP GOING NUMB. We did not get any sleep, PERIOD! Our mattress at home is a firm mattress but we have a memory foam mattress on top to help ease the firmness of the mattress. My husband back was still hurting him 24 hours after we got home and I’m the one who has had back surgery, not him‼️we only stayed ONE NIGHT instead of the two nights we booked. The recliner was SO SMALL, a good size for a 10-15 year old kid. My husband is not a big man, 5ft 10in 185 pounds, but that recliner is a JOKE‼️There was no iron or ironing board, to iron my clothes. Every resort /hotel I have ever stayed in has had shampoo/ conditioner in containers in the shower, with liquid body soap, only one TINY INCH SIZE BAR OF SOAP. It would have been nice to have paper towels in kitchen. THE deck had loose boards & nails sticking up, so HAD to have shoes on to be safe not to cut your feet. We have NEVER complained or have had these issues at any place we have stayed in the past, but the couch & bed situation was BAD…… the parking was a JOKE ALSO. We had to park half on half off the road that lead to cabins, but the other cabins on either side of use had a legitimate parking space. I see all the positive reviews & that’s why I booked this place. I guess one needs to make sure they book one of the BLUE CABINS, but stay away from number 8‼️‼️
A nice little place to go to get away and spend time with your loved one.
8.0We liked it, the cabins were cozy, clean, and right on the water. Easy drive to downtown Branson and the staff that I encountered were super friendly.
− The shower was a little tight, but other than that everything was fine.
