Trucks all night , poor sleep , view is of a Burger King . Sauna was a huge disappointment
1.0The breakfast was ok.
− We booked because the hotel has a sauna. The actual sauna looked like it was built by a blind carpenter who never sat in or had a conceptual drawing of an actual sauna. Unusable , ridiculous . Getting thousands of reviews on FB sauna page for worst sauna ever built
A very welcoming hotel in Fort McMurray
10.0The property was fairly new and the rooms were a good size and well appointed. The staff at the front desk were all lively and accommodating.
I won’t be back.
7.0Service was fine. Breakfast was fine, better than average but not spectacular.
− Room was extremely small. Amenities were lax. Ie: coffee, microwave, desk space for work. Bathroom shower was too open, and without an enclosure or curtain, it was cold and as a tall person I could not shower without getting water all over the floor.

10.0Went for our U18 girls hockey team (Lloydminster). Microtel was a great place to stay! The staff were very friendly. It was a very quick check in as they were ready for us when we arrived. There were gift bags for the girls, which they were excited about after a long trip. We enjoyed the hospitality room to order pizza, watch the Blue Jays World Series game and visit! Breakfast was hot and there were a lot of options. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Check out was quick and easy. Thank you for providing a great experience. Will be back.
