8.0Traditional cottage was poorly equipped. Modern cottage significantly better. Manager and staff were extremely helpful at all times. Breakfasts were excellent Payment was an issue as I had decided to pay the resort on arrival but payment was deducted from my card 3 days before arrival. The traditional cottage was found to be unacceptable and a downgrade to modern was agreed but no refund was offered.

Will never forget the running waiters
10.0This is a fantastic place. The facilities are a bit rustic, and there is no aircondition, but the service was amazing and personal, and the location in the midst of a lush garden on the coast of Lake Kivu was just fantastic. It is just a shame that there is no swimming in the lake - and no pool. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant with a fire pit on the floor and a local music performance one evening. And something I never saw before: Running waiters!!

6.0It was nice. They said they canceled my Expedia reservation because they don’t like how Expedia takes thirty days to reimburse them. They charged me $80 to stay and did not cancel the reservation. Expedia charged me $94.43 for the same stay

10.0The staff was exceptionally amazing. So nice, helpful and always wanted to make sure we were happy. They organize for us days trips with drivers and it was really worth it. The location was great just on Lac Kivu. It was a great place to relax and go for walks in the area. The food offered was also really good
