8.0We booked the small double room, and it was but it was just for overnight. they were very helpful in putting our cool bricks into their kitchen freezer.
Expensive stay in clean but run down old hotel- but cheaper than Inverness!

− Hotel is very run down, having had no money spent on it for many decades. Seems to be run with minimal staff, though my welcome was friendly enough. Very expensive for what it was- but at £80 it compared well with prices in Inverness in mid July, which almost make Edinburgh look reasonable.

− That they didn’t honour that our booking included breakfast and wished for us to pay extra to receive what we had booked and paid for prior to trip. That they were testing fire alarms after check in time and not giving time to respond when they checked every room. Something that easily could be done before check in to not disturb new guests.
