Great location, but....

Great location in Ortigia, central , within a short walk of all that Ortigia has to offer. However, the bathroom is on the ground floor, and bedrooms on the first. The staircase is not for the fainthearted (especially in the middle of the night). The other main problem is that the bedrooms have no soundproofing whatsoever. The apartment also has little soundproofing to the outside and although after around 11pm, the road is fairly quiet, we still experienced some noise late into the night and early morning noise - not the place for a quiet holiday!
