Nice location, if you have a car. Nice interior.

− The owner was moody from the first talk and made inappropriate jokes when we asked which key to use for the gate and home. All communication later was very slow. We asked for an extra blanket and received it the next day. There was a problem with parking, and we received a reply after an hour. The apartment was a little cold. The air conditioner was quite old and made noises, so it was very hard to use at night. The extra blanket that was in the room was a rather dusty, big rug, not a cozy blanket. There was a lot of locked furniture that you couldn't use; only one part of the wardrobe was open with a few hangers in it. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed, which was old and worn off. The TV was constantly freezing, so there was no point in using it. There was no telephone connection inside the apartment, only Wi-Fi. There was a very small electric kettle, for a few cups. Some of the plates and cups were not clean. Also, there was no baking paper, no oven mitts, and only one worn-off plastic cutting board. There should also be more mirrors in the apartment, not only one mirror in the bathroom, an iron, and a kitchen towel or at least more paper towels left for guests. Additionally, if you want your guests to sort waste, put about five different normal-sized bins in the kitchen, instead of sending some kind of trash schedule without explanation. Moreover, the apartment had very bad sound insulation; we heard people talking until midnight. And finally, there must be a lock that only guests can use to lock the doors from inside, because the owners live in the same house and they lock doors only from their side, so you cannot feel safe during your stay.

La stanza si trova in un residence molto tranquillo.

− Eravamo in quattro e per il divano letto non era prevista una coperta. Per fortuna nel letto matrimoniale oltre ad un trapuntino c'era un copriletto.

Pleasant stay, with some minor improvements

Overall, our stay was pleasant. There are a few things that could be improved, but they didn't upset us to disturb the holiday mood. Everything was provided as described and the towels were even refreshed at the middle of our stay.

− The trash recycling system wasn't explained before hand and it was unclear what to do with it. The owners live upstairs and the apartments are joined by a staircase behind locked wooden door next to the bed. That in itself is ok, but we had a situation where the owners came in for towel changing without clear communication before hand. They knocked repeatedly and waited for a bit before entering, but it still startled us as we were not expecting anything. Not exactly the owner's fault, but there is a loose sewer grate just outside the apartment, which causes immense sound every time a car passes. This frequently jump scared us during the night even though all windows were closed. Lastly, the apartment was a bit dark.

Ottima posizione per poter girare la Sicilia , vicino Catania , Etna e Taormina. La camera è comoda e c'è anche una piccola cucina. Bella la vista sul mare e comodissimo il parcheggio privato nel residence.
