10.0The hotel looked as if it's had a make over, everything clean & tidy.
The wet one
10.0As soon as we got reception staff couldn't do enough for us. First day went to the cricket got to see most of the game before rain stopped play. The rest of the match was virtually a wash out. Plodding round the town visiting places that were recommended all very good Wil be back.

6.0The property is within 3-5 minutes walk from Taunton Station and very easy to find. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Reception is open 24 hours a day which is useful in case of problems. I booked a standard single room which was clean and warm with reasonable en suite facilities although the shower was inclined to swap from very hot to cold water without warning. The fridge in the room was useful as the hotel is room only. Coffee and tea are provided, I stayed for 2 nights and it would have been good if the mug in the room had been replaced with a clean one the second night and more coffee and tea sachets left in the room. The bedside light in the room was nice but would have been improved had there been somewhere to plug it in.

10.0Hotel clean and tidy. Staff were ALL excellent, being friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for taunton amenities. We would def stay there again
