9.0I really liked the pub. Excellent choice of ales, food was pub grub but more than acceptable, comfortable accommodation, perfect location for my trip. I only met one member of staff but he couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming.
− The only reason I awarded 9 instead of 10 was there is no cooked breakfast as the Booking.com listing suggests, only continental. When I'm away I do like a cooked breakfast but that was easily remedied by a ten-minute walk to D'arcys, opposite the iron bridge, which opens at 8 a.m.

10.0Ideal location, owners very helpful & friendly, staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Toiletries replaced everyday & breakfast filled every morning. Lovely meals and a great selection of ales and gin 😊

− A little more space in the room, but it's a old building so that has to be excepted. Replenishing items needs to be better organised.
