The Safrano Palace is an excellent three star property literally on the main square in the Centru Istoric of Brasov. It is walking distance to pretty much anywhere that you might want to stroll to, including the lower station of the cable car to the Panoramic Restaurant and the iconic BRASOV sign on the top of the hill. (NB The views are amazing.) There is no shortage of public transport - to more or less anywhere else in the city - from the Livada Postei terminal about 10 minutes walk to the east of the hotel. The staff are very helpful. I could have checked in two hours early had I wanted to. There is a machine serving unlimited coffee in the reception area. Sadly I had to leave just before they opened the Breakfast Room on the morning that I departed. A hat tip goes to the late 19th century period furnishings.

Estás al pie de la plaza principal, un restaurante hindu al lado, la recepcionista me traducía todo lo necesario y me ayudo con todas mis dudas, la cama magnífica!

Mi-a plăcut că e localizat chiar în centrul orașului. Micul dejun a fost bun și divers.

− Patul și pernele foarte inconfortabile, m-am chinuit să rezist două nopți. Parchetul e foarte vechi și scârție, iar pe sub ușă se vedea lumina din holul hotelului. Lipsă de intimitate. Auzeam discuțiile vecinilor de la camera opusă. Se observă că nu au mai învestit în îmbunătățiri. Păcat! E o clădire monument istoric care merită mai multe investiții și atenție la detalii.

Sjarmerende hotell med perfekt plassering

Veldig sentralt og sjarmerende hotell. God størrelse på rommen og rent og pent. Hadde rom mot bakgården så støy ikke noe problem. Hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte.

− Savnet noe så enkelt som knagger til å henge opp ting på badet og i rommet, ofte for lite av det på hotellrom. Enkelt å fikse men betyr mye for funksjonaliteten i bruk av rommet, fels hvis du har blitt våt av regn og trenger å tørke noen klær

A stunning and central nook.

It was very central, the hotel was absolutely beautiful. The finishings were classic and felt so old but in a good way, not as if it were about to fall apart. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was stunning and spacious and easy to access for us. The breakfast options were also plentiful.

− For me, the only thing I didn't like was that the room was rather musty because the building was old. We did get both a fan and a dehumidifier but I did have a bit of a sore throat because of the humidity. I know I have very bad sinus so it could just be a one-off because I'm more prone to being sick. But they put in effort to not only maintain the building as it was when it was built, but to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible.
