Good choice en route to Murchison Falls National Park
8.0We stayed in Masindi overnight en route to Murchison Falls National Park. For this it was satisfactory. The room is solidly built and comfortable. Exceptionally quiet. Food was okay. Staff were very pleasant.
− Could be just me but the restaurant was very dark. Lighting is minimal. Maybe a good reason for this. Not sure.

− Breadfast for residents may not have been budget for well because, unlike during my previous visits, this time around, the hotel hosted some group who were on a residential workshop. By 9.00AM, the caterers were caught "flatfooted" when guests turning up for breafast had little or breakfast made hurriedly

6.0Gardens and pool were an asset. Staff very helpful in helping to sort out a problem with our chimpanzee trek
− Room was stifling, no air con and fan did not work. Buffet dinner and breakfast not great. Staff were mostly rather sullen.
