Great pub with excellent food and atmosphere

Reasonable but overpriced and communal shower not
6.0Stayed in room above pub. Room was ok, nice bedding, towels etc. The communal bathroom could do with some improvement. A shower extension in the bath that you have to hold which is a trickle of water and nothing if you stand up - making it impossible to wash your hair . Skirting and flooring not the cleanest in rest of bathroom too. Good breakfast included which isn’t mentioned on the description

Fantastic stay - highly recommded!
10.0Beautiful location for a very peaceful stay. Stunning room which was very-well thought-out and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. For breakfast I can recommend the porridge with warm maple syrup!

10.0Cottage with a family friendly appeal. Family owned and warm staff. Close proximity to the Pooh village and Pooh bridge. The swimmer that beat the world’s most decorated swimmer Michael Phelps is on the staff. So this property has character. American Express Cards are don’t work here, so carry Visa or Masrtercard and Cash

10.0Wonderful staff, friendly and welcoming and always ready and happy to help in any way they could. Lovely room in the Old School House with beautiful views across the meadow to the cricket pitch. Idyllic place to stay
