2nd time was not the charm. It was a disappointment compared to our first time at the property.
4.0We had stayed at the property years before and enjoyed the pool area and the general grounds. This time around the pool was closed and I don't think that was disclosed. The sign said it was closed for the summer and looked pretty bad. The "amenity" of a vending machine was in a rundown building with no power and no working machine. Our room was "fine" and we rested well, but it was disappointing. We would probably not come back the next time we are in Gaylord.

6.0Front desk staff are very nice.
− The toilet plugged. (The staff was hard to reach but someone came about 35 minutes later to help). The dispensers in shower didn’t work. Loud neighbors were hard to ignore.

− Some buildings needing repairs. It's a beautiful place, buildings need more love.
It is a lovely property, just needs some attention to the buildings and pool area.
6.0It is located in a beautiful setting. Nice and relaxing vibe.
− The outside of the buildings are in need of a major paint upgrade (especially the Lofts where we stayed) on the outside. the paint was peeling and just generally had a "in need of some love" feeling. We ate at the grill, and the food was delicious, but for a $20 sandwich I had to pay $6 extra for french fries, that seemed ridiculous to me. The pool water was nice and clean, but the whole pool area seems neglected and could use some sprucing up.
