4.0This place needs renovation. Looks much better on the pictures. Shower needs to be fixed. Water pressure is very weak.

8.0Our stay in this hotel is a good experience. the service is excellent. the condition of the hotel is good we have some little issues but they were urgent to fix it. joseph one of the server there was very kind and accomodating, always making sure were taken care off. the owner also check on us everyday. i would recommend this hotel for a great experience in Kilimanjaro. plus factor you can see the view of mt Kilimanjaro.
Enjoyable Stay Pre-Kilimanjaro
10.0I really enjoyed my stay. This is a discount B&B with good service and spacious rooms. If you haven't been to Moshi yet, this hotel is slightly out of the town center. I would urge you to avoid the town center - it is really noisy and the air isn't good. On hot Tanzanian days, these things matter. The Secret Garden is adjacent to an open field and it is quiet. Also, the owner Daudi is an interesting person - ask him to tell you the story of this property - it's quite interesting!

8.0I was transferred to Friends of mine hotel becasue the hotel was fully booked by the time i arrived. Therefore i did not experience Secret Garden. The service at Friends of mine hotel was excellent.

8.0The property attracts an eclectic grouping of travelers who are warm and friendly. The property also has a lovely first-floor verandah with a bar and lounge that is shaded by trees and a great place to meet other travelers. Lovely views of Mt Kilimanjaro from the verandah.

8.0I enjoyed the staff service at this pleasant hotel near the center of Moshi. This is a very nice small hotel with a mixture of experienced tourists and backpackers. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, so I strongly recommend adding the board aspect of your reservation.
