A very disgraceful customer service

I stayed in the hotel with my wife and friends, we made the online booking and 2 rooms were booked with package deals, by mistake we forgot to add 4 adults instead of 2 adult for 2 rooms. We tried to make hotel reception staff Riya about the mistake, she was very dismissive with the situation, shrugging her shoulders off during talk, they charged us full price for the 2nd adult in the room we showed them price online which were same for 2 adults per room, as it was a package deal we were happy to pay the difference and tried to explain that all over the world it’s a standard price for 2 adults per room, Riya started to make the faces by saying will you travel 2 people in a bus with single ticket, this comment was quite rude for the hotel industry which serves 2 adults per room as a standard all over world. We had no choice and needed to pay the full price for both rooms, and felt cheated., these kind of treatments destroy the beliefs of Indian hospitality and make the reputation worse if done same with others. Very disappointed no senior manager was called despite the explanations, why we were more concerned as 1st they told us we don’t talk on behalf of other hotels but our hotel charge this, than when we showed them online prices for single guest and 2 guest per room in the package deal she just completely ignored us and started to look away.. what a disgrace!!

− As explained above, staff need better training and need to know what is standard in hotel management industry, please don’t hire such staff who don’t even know how to communicate peacefully with the customers.

− The bathroom door could have air ventilation to stop steam build up. The bed frame extends beyond the end of the mattress so you have to be careful not to stub your toes.

'Location Right Next To Chowpaty. Staff is very friendly

− the room had white lights. I guess they should change to warm white and the shower in my room was not working well and I had to use the tap instead to take a shower.

The 2 door men, they were really nice and helpful. Location was great.

− On arrival reception staff were rude and abrupt. Not very helpful. The dining area wasn’t maintained well, tables left with food and staff not bothered. Food was ok. Breakfast was nice.

Worst night / stay ever, if i could give this 0 stars, I would.

− Really poor customer service. The room we got (room 108), smelt like urine. The toilet seat was broken, and moved away after I sat on it. The bathroom door locked it self so we couldn't get into it. The shower tap leaver, was so stiff you could barely move it. The roll away bed was filty. The cabinet door that house the fridge was broken/missing. So the light from the glass door fridge would keep you awake. Had to turn the fridge off to turn off the light. The air con made a stretching noise. When we told the staff about the bad smell, they said they would clean the room again, and said if we're still not satisfied they would do something about. The room still smelt, but they couldn't do anything about it, as they were fully booked. The rest of the things we complained about, and the manager and staff, said they could do anything about it, as we had to already paid in full, which we had to do when we checked in, there was no other option presented when we checked it The hotel is clearly run down and in need of full gut and refurbishment. Staff need training, on customer service. Worst night ever, if i could give this 0 stars, I would.
