9.0Great set-up with three bedrooms for family of five. Decent breakfast but sadly no chocolate sprinkles. Located in quiet neighbourhood but with good public transport options into the centre.
− The sofa in the tv room was not very comfortable.
Catherine is an angel
9.0The room was nice and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were great. Especially Catherine, she was just amazing and she even went out her way to leave me a card and chocolates in the room as I arrived to the hotel with an ankle injury and was in crutches. She brightened up our stay. She is just a really lovely person.
Spacious rooms and a great location, but very limited common areas for guests to relax or work.
6.0The room size was very good especially for many hotels throughout Europe it was large and comfortable
− One thing I found disappointing was the lack of shared spaces to enjoy outside the room. The hotel has a beautiful bar area, but I was told it had been closed for several years and would not reopen. I asked if I could sit and work with my laptop in the breakfast and lunch area, but was told I couldn’t. I then sat in the closed bar area with my laptop. There was no service, but no one asked me to leave, and I appreciated being able to work there. Still, it would have been nice to have a proper common area where guests could relax with a coffee or drink, or work outside their rooms.
