10.0This was a great authentic Japanese experience -- from the delicious breakfast, spacious room and amazing gardens. The staff could not have been more gracious and hospitable.
This one would be in my core memory.

− Probably the curfew but I totally understand the why behind it so I’m not upset about it. It forces me to come back and relax which was a need.

− If you are big or tall u will not be comfortable because it is a smaller space! Fyi The room is fine but the corridors are very tight and low
Wonderful and very welcoming
10.0What an honour to stay at such a wonderful ryokan. We had an upstairs room at the front of the property. It was very spacious with very comfortable beds and a separate living/dining room. The staff are extremely welcoming, hospitable and very helpful. We had a beautiful home cooked traditional Japanese breakfast delivered to our room every morning which was delicious. The hot bath ready for us on an evening was most welcome after a day sightseeing. We had a very rainy day on one of our days and the lovely owner of the property even dried my shoes for me for the next morning. I can’t recommend this place enough, it really is fantastic. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay
