9.0The hotel itself is set above a quiet road with well tended beautiful gardens. My room was comfortable and spacious with a terrace overlooking the lake; the bathroom could do with a shelf near sink to put toiletries and shower needs modernisation. Breakfasts had to be chosen the night before with a good choice to be delivered at a specific time in the morning, but absolutely delicious with the freshest of eggs from his farm. Meals in the restaurant were exceptional, well presented and very tasty. They do the cooking themselves so are talented chefs. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful.
− Temperature of air con cannot be regulated in room and only via reception; would benefit by upgrading as very noisy.
