8.0Genuine farmhouse, quirky and individual. Lots of farming history relative to the area. Managed to arrange an early breakfast. This was important as it was very hot weather and we were walking so needed to get out early.
− The breakfast was a little small owing to the host being indisposed. Normally would be more I expect.
Wonderful old farmhouse with a warm welcome and quirky rooms.
10.0The little farmhouse and yard, which has been in the family for around 300 years, is in a beautiful location and we were made very welcome. Parking in the yard is among geese and chickens. The room we stayed in is just up the main stairs with a double bed and shower room, cosy rather than spacious. We slept really well and had a good (normal) cooked breakfast in the wonderful breakfast room. The farmhouse is packed with pictures, knitted dolls, rosettes, crockery and trinkets which must have been collected over decades, maybe more.
− There was nothing not to like. However if you wanted a stay longer than a night or two the double bedroom would be, maybe, a bit small.

7.0We enjoyed the animals walking around the farm yard. Our host was extremely friendly and was keen to ensure we had an memorable stay.
− The breakfast room was filled with a lot of eccentric goods!
