8.0The place was well kept. We were surprised with the large jacuzzi in our room but there was only cold water for it so it was not useable. The multi level room made us take caution at night so we would not fall down the stairs. The restaurant was closed for the evening but we were able to get room service and had dinner on the front porch.

4.0The room that I booked was a family room with two king bed. The room very dirty (we can tell the walls used to be painted in white, but were covered with black dust ). There was a terrible disgusting bathroom, and there was a bath tub falling in pieces. At check in, I asked the reception suggestion to visit the area, but they couldn’t help. I finally got help to find a taxi at the bus station. On the positive side, they have a nice pool (but we were in January and we got cold rain). I don’t know Monywa’s other options for accommodation, but I am sure you can find better. I would not recommend this place to my family and my friends. I was disappointed as the pictures on Expedia look great, but it was not the reality I experienced.

10.0Nice large room, friendly staff. Free breakfast and we also dined at the restaurant which was good. Also enjoyed the pool and walking to the lake. They helped us arrange a tuk tuk and a bus ticket when needed.
