​Great Hot Spring Getaway with Outstanding Hospitality

What I Loved ​The Location & Accessibility: It’s in a wonderfully quiet area surrounded by locals (definitely not a party spot, which I loved!). It's highly accessible—close to both the bus transfer station and the train station. The train schedule makes it super easy to explore other parts of Yilan. There is a Family Mart nearby, and since I visited on a weekday, grabbing an Uber was incredibly fast and convenient. ​Free Bicycle Rentals: The villa provides free bicycles for guests. It’s less than a 10-minute ride to nearby spots, or a pleasant 15-minute walk (even in the summer heat, it was very manageable!). ​In-Room Hot Spring: Having private access to the famous Jiaoxi hot spring water right inside the room was a massive highlight. Plus, the villa allows you to Uber Food and drinks straight to the property, which made relaxing even easier. ​Superb Staff & Cleanliness: The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and hardworking. The room itself was very clean, and I really appreciated their concept of leaving our shoes downstairs to keep the villa pristine.

− Areas for Improvement ​First Impressions: When I first entered, the room felt like it hadn't been used in a little while. If a room has been vacant for a bit, I'd suggest a quick refresh before the guest arrives. ​Maintenance Needed: Given that the property opened about ten years ago, a few areas are showing their age. The showerhead was a bit rusty, which blocked some of the water flow and slightly took away from the clean vibe. The walls are also a bit thin—I could hear the staff talking downstairs in the morning. A little maintenance during the off-peak season would go a long way. ​Breakfast Variety: While I didn't expect a massive feast, having an alternative breakfast option would be a great touch for guests staying two nights or more so it doesn't get repetitive.
