It has a lot of charm but sadly we made a fire in the fireplace and made sure the flue was open but still the room was filled with smoke even with the door open the smoke alarm went off. Also the refrigerator didn't work. I am sure this is not typically the case, but Sweetwater resort never got back to me when I emailed them regarding these matters.

The view of the ocean from the kitchen window was beautiful but the rest of the property was in disrepair. Termite infestations eating away at the walls both inside and out, lack of cleaning with cobb webs/spiders on walls, poor/old quality bedding and bed (mattress was very old and used), exterior plants/pots dead and left to rot, tv not working properly, windows dirty, curtains in bathrooms so dirty they were yellowed and dust laidened, pillows old, smelly and dingy, whole house insided smelled of soot from the fireplace, no screens on any windows or doors to allow for fresh air, electrical cords plugged in willy nilly (scary), light fixtures without or only one bulb in each fixture that allowed for three, light fixtures with multiple bulbs didn't match both in color and style, electrical plugs in bathrooms were placed katywampus and the wrong way so it wouldn't/couldn't accept your hairdryer cord. The bungalow has a darling character to it but the owners have let the property deterioate beyond repair. They charge high fees but poor quality. Not worth the cost. Very sad.

Cons- Did not like ants every day on kitchen counter where food prep needed to be done. Could not get TV in main room to work, called to report and was advised someone would call back which did not happen. Next day came back to cabin and found TV on but still unable to get channels. Lighting so poor in main room unable to read a book except in 1 chair in the corner. Written check out information advised we needed to check out promptly by 11 am but failed to inform where we needed to check out. I had to make a call to determine where we needed to leave the key which was not at the location where we checked in. Pros- Appreciate housekeeping did good job cleaning cabin before we checked in. Bed comfortable and nice towels. Overall do not feel price commensurate with the quality of the unit. Would not likely to stay there again.
