Our favorite stay while in France
10.0We loved everything about our stay - the room, the bed, the amazing selections and made to order items at Breakfast. ...and while it was a bit too cool outside to try out the pool, relaxing in the gardens and watching the boats and canoes go by on the river was one of the highlights of our trip. Ouafaa was the hostess with the mostest! We will definitively be back! We also loved that we could walk to 6-8 restaurants on the path from the garden for dinner - so nice not to have to drive and find parking in La Roque-Gegeac.

10.0Somewhat grand house with a lot of character. Nice view of the garden to the hills and river just outside. Spacious room and bathroom. Everything worked well. Ouffa (the host) was gracious and friendly. Easy and pretty walk into the nearby small town.

10.0The hostess proprietor is extremely helpful and kind. Our room was extremely comfortable. (It was the “Malartrie” room). The breakfast was very nice and the dining room is elegant. There is a pool. It’s about a 10 minute walk into town. The grounds and garden were very spacious.

10.0Manoir de la Malartrie was so spectacular. Absolutely stunning hotel and grounds, with warmest, most delightful proprietor. The room was absolutely beautiful, situated on the river and within a two-minute walk to charming town. The breakfast was FABULOUS, by far the best B&B experience we had in our 3-week trip. We will be back.
