10.0We loved everything about our stay at arcadia and it might be the best place we stayed at during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. First of all, we booked this hotel literally 1 hour before coming, and the staff wasn't bothered; they let us pick out our room from the ones that were free. The price is great, especially considering the two pools, the great rooms, and the overall level of service provided by the staff. The location is great, as it is close to the best snorkeling beach in Hikkaduwa while not being directly on the busy street. We picked this hotel because we read we could stay at the pool until we left for our flight later in the evening. What we got was actually even better. We were able to leave our stuff at the reception and enjoy our day in Hikkaduwa. We had time to go to the beach and stay by the pool, and they were even so kind as to put a room at our disposal to shower and charge our devices while we waited for our taxi. Overall we had an amazing time, and our only regret was that we only stayed there for our last two nights in Sri Lanka.
