8.0The hotel's location in relation to activities was excellent. The staff was very friendly. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, and everything was very good. Having a swimming pool was a real plus after an excursion in the heat, although it could get quite crowded on some days.
We thought the staff were very helpful and amazing! We loved the simple quiet stay.
8.0The staff were so helpful and friendly! We loved the pool and the grounds were well kept and lovely. It was a quiet stay with a simple family feel. We had a triple room and it was large and we felt safe here. Though there isn't much for wandering around or stores close by, so a car or a cab or something similar is needed. We were picked up here for our ATM Cave tour. You MUST do this!! Book through the hotel. It's amazing!!
− You are situated more in neighborhoods rather than the downtown. We liked the quiet, but if you are looking for the more touristy areas, then you need a cab. Worth it though!

6.0We liked the price. You get what you pay for. The rooms were very large. It was clean. There was a pond with turtles. Good WiFi.
− They advertise a restaurant, there is no restaurant. Also, the pool was gross, we asked for it to be cleaned, they added a jug of pool cleaner and it turned my daughter’s hair green. It’s right by a really busy street, the rooms are not sound proof, it was very noisy all night. There’s a large pond that is a mosquito breeding ground. We had to ask for extra pillows because they were so flat and uncomfortable.

1.0− Unfortunately Drift Inn in Cayo did not meet expectations. The room lacked proper maintenance and cleanliness, and although we raised concerns, the issues were not adequately resolved by the owner. The property has potential, but greater attention to upkeep and guest experience is needed.
