Nice place, but needs better maintenance
9.0The facilities were very nice. There is a beautiful swimming pool at the entrance to the main house and a pool table, which was enjoyed by many of the guests. There were a lot of birds on the lot that the property sits on, which I really enjoyed. They have a family of Capuchin monkeys that come visit every morning. We could also hear howler monkeys calling each morning. The closest nice beach is Playa Santa Teresa, which is about two kilometers away. I would suggest taking a car to get there, as there is a lot of traffic on the road in front of the house.
− There was a mold problem in the house when we first got there, but the property manager took care of it when asked. There was a family of skunks that had taken up residence in the kitchen. We successfully chased them away without anyone getting sprayed, but they returned every day to try to claim their territory. As mentioned above, the traffic on the road is pretty heavy at times, so be careful with pets and children. The beach that you can see from the street (across from the property) is not swimmable. It is made up of volcanic rock and there are rip tides.

7.0Rooms and pool were very clean
− Staff was very unresponsive to our messages and requests. They committed to breakfast at 8 and they were late + they did not have food that had been requested. They committed to helping us booking cars etc but made us lose one day because they were very unorganized, late and unresponsive.
