10.0The place inside was impeccable clean and very comfortable. Outside coming out of winter the bushes needed to be dead head. Mulch fluffed. But clean yard.
Saugatuck rental
6.0The problem we had was workers were working in the apartment above ours and they started work at 7am which was inconsiderate to our party. We were there 2 nights and it was the same scenario both mornings. Not much to do in Saugatuck in early April, but I understand that it is a resort town
Nice overall space but limited privacy
8.0This is a really nice space for two people or a small family. I think it would be tight for more people if you're spending much time inside. We loved the hot tub, fireplace, smart tv and proximity to town. It was unfortunate to have to walk around the house outside to get to and from the hot tub, and then back through the house wet to get to the bathroom. They should turn the window in the bathroom into a door for easier, warmer access. I also don't love the 11am check out in addition to all the chores they make you do in addition to the cleaning fee. The deal breaker tho was that there is no sound proofing with the attached rental unit - we could hear every word from the other guest so clearly that when I said to my partner that it was weird, the other guest responded that yes, it's weird. It's only in the bathroom area, but I hated that. It's one thing to hear noises of the presence of others, but that was too much. We just wanted a secluded weekend away, so that took away from it.
