10.0Our room was lovely, the staff were very professional and helpful. The food was delicious with lots of choice. We had a massage with Mawan which was excellent. A special mention to Dhamanuke and to Madushanka.
Other hotels we stayed at on this trip were $400 less and had no restrictions!

− For a $1000 per night I didn’t expect a waterlogged blind in the shower and mould forming in the shower. Being told not to swim in the beach on arrival and signing a disclaimer paper was a first for us anywhere in the world. Do not promote the beach on your website if you cannot swim in it. In all the years travelling in the most amazing hotels I have never been told you cannot drink your own duty free gin. Afternoons drinks 5 to 6pm saved this law, except it was local gin. It was a beautiful view at sunset.
