Paid for an upgrade which wasn’t delivered
7.0The location of the hotel was great and our room was nice and clean.
− Sadly we booked and paid extra for a room with a balcony however upon arrival the balcony door hit the bottom of the bed when we tried to open it so had to shift the bed over only to open the door to find it a construction zone and completely blocked with scaffolding, plastic sheeting and lots of dust. When I asked for us to either move to a room with a balcony as we paid for or to have that portion of our room refunded this was refused. The room was most expensive part of our trip which included flights and long distance train tickets. Therefore I was quite disappointed in the hotels response to simply say no. I would add that the fridge in the room did not get cold so we had to go to a pharmacy to buy cold packs to keep my mother’s medication cold. Lastly I would have appreciated additional blankets and pillows in the room like I have experienced in all other hotels I have ever stayed in. There was one blanket and one pillow which is quite basic. Again given the price I didn’t feel I should have to ask for more. Whilst the location was great I would not choose to stay here again given the response we received.

5.0− chambre quasiment borgne, pas,de terrasse comme affiché,pas de vue sur l'extérieur, une minuscule cour sans ouverture la télévision ne fonctionnait pas difficulté pour trouver l'entrée de l'établissement ( échafaudages)
