Too expensive for what it is.

Plenary of animals to see and we had a very spacious room with a large bed. Much of the food is seemingly made from their own produce, which is interesting.

− * Stating the obvious: it’s a farm with free reigning animals, so there’s droppings everywhere. Not the best place for very young kids that can barely walk. This is not a criticism of the place, but rather meant as an FYI for anyone who, like me, might not have thought that through… * There was no proper introduction of the options for breakfast, and it was too chaotic and expensive for what it was. (Didn’t try dinner, which apparently you could also have ordered.) At breakfast, for instance, you can get porridge or fried eggs for breakfast, but you won’t know this unless you specifically ask for that. Also, you are not introduced or being offered many alternatives to the locally made produce. (They had bought cows milk to be fair.) For instance, using ducks eggs and goats butter for breakfast, affects the taste, but it’s not pointed out what is different from ‘the normal’ – neither when placing an order for breakfast, nor when it is being served. It’s probably because it has become the new normal for the hosts. Or non-veterans the taste of goat gets old quick, and I suspect there was goats milk in the buns or that the butter was made from their own goats milk. Also, it seemed quite random what was being served and with non-steady standards. One day there was cows milk but it was not put out the next. The same with mediocre rye bread and an amazing apple juice, both being available only one of the two days. Or the homemade jam – one a perfect rhubarb and another a much too runny one from berries. And there was a shortage on non-instant coffee the one day it seemed. * there was no real introduction to any kind of program with the animals. Say a time at which you can come at watch the goats being milked, come scavenge eggs, feed the rabbits, etc. If you’re around, at the boasters sees you, she’ll let you know if something about to happen soon. But that’s about it in terms of a schedule.

A mixed experience. the location is great and the farm is very interesting, animals everywhere. the nearby beaches are beautiful. on the plus side, the host took a lot of time with our daughter to see and feed the animals.

− on the negetive side, we arrived a bit early. it would have been fine to simply say 'apologies we're not ready yet'. instead the host made the room quickly (very nice) but then complained about us being early multiple times (not so nice). the dinner was nice hut quite expensive and the breakfast is not included. also, at some point the host started complaining about slamming the door, which I'm sure our daughter did once, but even after we certainly stopped, they told us time and time and time again that slamming the door would damage the house to the point we were eager to leave. unfortunately this dominated our experience. also the kitchen was not very clean.

Et rigtig godt sted med søde værter. Vores ophold varede 6 dage. Kokken inviterede sønnen med i både køkken og “gamer -stue” samt aftenfodring af dyrene. Køkkenet var ikke et oplagt “dele-køkken”, men vi fandt gode løsninger. Køkkenet savnede rengøring, men der var alt i køkkenudstyr. Vi brugte ikke selv så meget tid med dyrene. Måske vi selv kunne have gjort mere for det, men oplevelsen var mere B&B med dyr end bondegårdsferie. Man skal dog kunne lide hanegal fra morgenstunden. Suiten og badeværelser levede fuldstændig op til forventningerne, og fungerede rigtig godt for os. Det var meget rent og pænt. Vi kommer helt sikkert gerne igen!

OK hvis man får en af hytterne eller et telt for sig selv - og man ikke er sippet mht køkkenhygiejne.

Dyrene var velpassede og ville gerne kæles til stor glæde for børnene. God trampolin og bordfodbold.

− Vores rum lå direkte ud til køkkenet, hvilket betød noget køkkenlarm om aftenen - og man skulle ud gennem køkkenet for at bruge toilet og bad. Dyrene fik lov at spise madrester direkte fra tallerkenerne, hvilket ikke passer til min opfattelse af køkkenhygiejne.
