10.0The property was fantastically well appointed, clean and peaceful, which is precisely what we were looking for. Elias, the owner, was great, very friendly and available on email to answer questions throughout our stay. He left us some wine and basics when we arrived and his wife cooked us a gemista half way through our stay, both of which went beyond any expectation. Elias came early every other morning to clean the pool and the property was cleaned, towels and bedding changed twice during our 9 day stay. The location was excellent, in a tranquil hamlet less than a kilometre into a pretty village with pottery shops, a bakery, small supermarket and a couple of tavernas. It was about a twenty minute drive into Rethymnon with its beaches, harbour, shops, restaurants and old town, but there were closer beaches available (although we did not visit these). All in all, we had a great holiday and would certainly visit Blue Paradise again.
