10.0Tony was the best! He quickly answered questions I emailed before I even got to the hotel, had so many suggestions about food & attractions in Guilin & was just a great person to chat with. Worst and dirtiest hotel experience of my life
1.0The location is good and the hotel manager is very nice.
− The hotel is disgustingly dirty. It is honestly the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. We got there late at night and we could not complain until the next morning, when the manager changed our room. It did not get better. If the first room was full of dirt, the second one was full of bugs and dead mosquitoes in the walls. I was not able to sleep. We left one day earlier because it was unbearable. The worst thing is that, looking into the most recent reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem. Guests are constantly complaining about the dirt and general cleaning status of the rooms, and the management does not seem to care. When we changed rooms, we specifically requested the manager that he made sure the cleaning personel cleaned under the beds, and he looked at us like we were crazy. It is really a shame and I am very sorry for writing such a harsh review, but this has honestly been the worst hotel experience I have ever had and made it impossible for me to enjoy Guilin.
Nice stay, superb host
8.0The room was spacious and confortable. Tony the host has been very helpful providing us important and clear suggestions about things to do in the city and in the surroundings. The hotel itself is in a very good position, close to the riverwalk.
