9.0Our hosts Phil and Betty were congenial and accommodating. They provided an enjoyable breakfast and the pricing was suitable. They were helpful with suggestions on local attractions.
− There was very little that we didn't like. I mention the shower only because, while it was not a problem for us, it could be somewhat difficult for a person with mobility issues; (but, perhaps that is made clear before an actual booking.)

perfect for weekend stay!!
9.0location was excellent. we walked to the downtown where most of the restaurants & some breweries were. carroll creek was a nice spot to sit. we were fortunate to be there for the arts festival which had excellent vendors. the BnB was very clean and maintained. breakfast was different every day which was welcomed. thought was put into it. coffee was excellent. proprietors were warm and interesting. bed was comfy, bathroom was fine. nice 'extras'... water and candy. pool table was a nice addition. lots of books to choose from. perfect for a long weekend if u want to explore Frederick or ride over to Leesburg or Harper's Ferry.
− homemade cookies around 4:00 or some sort of snack. popcorn would be nice as well. the TV: no live TV. you have to subscribe to FUBU, which we do not have. the NBA finals & Stanley Cup finals were on and we could not watch it. there is a fire stick but again, no Live TV. you would have to tap into what u have at home. so be sure to know your all your info!!! which we did not unfortunately ....

Wonderful comfort and location
9.0Location (easy walk to historical downtown), Phil and Betty were exceptional hosts, very nice breakfast, good value.
− Clawfoot tub was a little difficult to get in, but then we discovered the footstep to facilitate getting in.

10.0Breakfast -wonderfully presented by them, and happily eaten by us. They sat with us for breakfast, it really was like having breakfast with actual people. The inside structure, and their choices for ambience made this a great step into another time.
− Napes. Nothing. Oh wait. We heard one very polite yip at one point at a very decent hour. Probably one of their dogs that was desperate to make my acquaintance. :-)
