10.0L’ambiance du lieu, la gentillesse du personnel
Everything was amazing
9.0Great ryokan, everything was top quality. The food was amazing, good onsen (terrace views and sauna were a really nice bonus!), view from the rooms over the town was so beautiful and calming. However, the best thing must be the people working there. Every single person was so lovely and genuinely sweet. It was such a pleasure chatting to them. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends and will try to visit again soon. It may be a simple ryokan but one of the best I had a privilege staying at.
− Nothing
A thoroughly enjoyable and welcoming introduction to traditional Japanese Inns. We would go back.
10.0Pretty much everything was great (except language barrier, which was a challenge we expected). The staff was gracious and accommodating, often explaining aspects of culture, traditions, and the local area to help us enjoy our visit. The facilities had a great mix of (very) old and new blended seamlessly. The location is a short walk (or convenient free shuttle) up the hill from the local train, and that was a 20-30 minute ride from the Shinkansen (bullet train).
− It's hard to find something to complain about, as everything was done so well.
Lovely, wonderful, excellent stay!
10.0Everyone was very nice and helpful! Everything went perfectly and the onsen in our suite was very useful, I.e. private and we can use anytime. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and plenty! All in all, excellent stay!
− One overy minor thing that could have been better (which the ryokan can't do anything about) is the other ryokan building that's partially blocking the view of the mountains 😆). And another minor thing is, probably English translation of the menu for dinner, so we know what we are eating 😉. Thanks you so much for making our stay lovely and memorable!
− Alles super !!!!!!!!!!!

9.0Excellent value, great staff, you feel very welcome. Not all staff speaks English but they really do their best to help. The onsen on rooftop is very pleasant and open night and day. Food is good and very generous.
