A great hotel with even better staff!
10.0From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The courtyard was a lovely space to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine! The food was excellent - we ate in the tapas restaurant and enjoyed breakfast each morning. The location was great for exploring the Cotswolds. We enjoyed it so much we ended up extending our stay by one night and will definitely be back!
Lovely pre wedding stay
10.0We stayed at the Highway for the night before our wedding celebrations and we couldn't have been happier with our stay! The room was beautiful and very spacious, Burford is a stunning town to have a walk round, we had dinner and drinks downstairs at Torro too which was lovely, Breakfast was delicious too!
− Rooms a little dark but it does add to the whole vibe overall so can't complain!!
A stay to remember!
10.0All the staff were INCREDIBLY kind and thoughtful. My partner and I were celebrating our engagement and the staff went to great lengths to ensure we truly had the best celebration! Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable :) we will definitely be back! The rooms were really beautiful interior wise, huge comfy bed and the restaurant TORO was incredible, yummy small plates (we could've ordered the entire menu). Breakfast each morning was also delicious - we really felt looked after and truly relaxed. Such a great location right on Burford highstreet and walking distance to everything you could want.
− Our stay was during the height of summer (including a heat wave) so the rooms got very hot. We bought our own fan, there was also one in the room which helped. The light was quite dark in the rooms and there wasn't much hanging/storage space in our room (Gold) but it was a small room so to be expected.
Homely inn with delicious food and friendly staff.
10.0We loved our stay at Highway. The team have carefully restored the inn, incorporating modern facilities while maintaining the cosy historic features. The tapas restaurant, Toro, was great, and the staff were so kind and friendly, going above and beyond with thoughtful touches.
