Warm experience in Bhaktapur

With so many choices for accommodations in Bhaktapur it can be difficult to choose where to stay. Friend's guest house had many great reviews on another booking site and I can agree that this is a great option. The location is conveniently situated near the popular sites and a large grocery store if your in need of more than a restaurant meal. Also important, especially in the winter months, is the luxury of a good shower. This hotel had the hottest water I've experienced yet here in Nepal. The owner and staff are friendly and the food was great. Nice extras were a lovely garden and the option to do cooking, woodworking classes etc. Be sure to enjoy the porch swing on the rooftop terrace that is perfect for watching the sunrise.

Good location but ask for double payment

Guesthouse location is near most of attraction. Room and building needs improvements. Main problem was that for 2 days they "said" they couldn't find use my credit card even if I did a prepaid booking so they ask to pay again in cash. Luckily verifying my card statement, just before checking out, was able to show them I already paid so they gave me refund but not fully... Surely is cheap but not value for the cost. Plus I didn't like the attitude in dealing with the payment.
