Beautiful, luxurious villa in a wonderful location

Everything! The private pool, garden, views, location were all excellent. Only 5 mins walks down the road to Agios Thomas Beach (perhaps a little longer on the way back up in the heat 😉). The bed was very comfortable and we loved the decor in the whole house and garden. We could tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into this villa and Maria goes above and beyond to make sure that every guest has the best experience possible. She even asked about our dietary requirements before we arrived and cooked us dinner on our first night which was AMAZING after a long day of travelling! We would definitely love to stay here again on a future visit to Kefalonia and would recommend this villa to everyone 😊.

Exceptional villa and host in a wonderful location!

We have stayed in many wonderful places, but Driftwood Villa tops them all. It is absolutely superb: tastefully designed, well-equipped, extremely comfortable, luxurious and immaculately clean. The villa features a spacious, beautiful garden filled with fruit trees and plants, offering stunning sea views and a lovely breeze. It also has a wonderful pool. The villa is situated just a five-minute walk from the delightful St. Thomas Beach, which is a great bonus. The gated entrance and generous grounds provide complete privacy and peace and quiet. Maria the host is super responsive and extremely helpful. All of her recommendations (where to eat, sites to visit etc) were excellent! She generously welcomed us at the airport and when we arrived at the villa a delicious dinner and a bottle of Kefalonian wine was waiting for us, which was a lovely treat. The beds are very comfortable and the standards throughout the entire villa are exceptionally high (plenty of towels, nice soaps etc.) We also rented a car directly through Maria, which was very convenient and saved us the hassle of dealing with a rental company. Kefalonia is absolute paradise and the villa’s location makes it incredibly easy to drive to various parts of the island and enjoy the many delights Kafelonoa has to offer. We couldn’t recommend Driftwood Villa more enthusiastically and really hope to return!

Todo: la decoración, la comodidad, la privacidad, la limpieza, la tranquilidad y la amabilidad de la dueña, María. Es una villa preciosa en la que tienes todo lo que necesitas para disfrutar. Es un paraíso. Está a pocos metros del mar y la piscina privada es maravillosa.

Absolutely amazing hosts from the off. From the beautiful lunch prepared by Maria upon arrival, the warm welcome to the organic vegetables brought by Dennis and the lovely bottle of wine. The villa is impeccable, attention to detail and such beautiful decoration hand crafted by a very talented Dennis. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was kept in an amazing condition, so clean. A beautiful peace full holiday, our best one ever. We could not have asked for a better relaxed holiday in beautiful settings, so much so we are returning next year. Only one problem we encountered was where to sit next, there were so many options. Dennis & Maria both came to wave us off on our last day. Can't wait to return back next year.

Maria and Dennis were exceptional hosts.A wonderful home cooked meall on arrival and warm welcome from Maria, Dennis brought us fresh organic vegetables from his garden.The whole villa was beautiful, with everything you could need in a stunning location, the most relaxing holiday ever.
