9.0This floating house is very private and in-tune with nature! It overlooks a peninsula covered with different sea birds. We enjoyed watching the birds hunt and dive for fish and watching fish and jellyfish swim by from the house, deck and hot tub. The owner is very hospitable and was easy to reach for check in - he personally showed us how to use everything needed and allowed us to take the small boat with a troll motor to/from and around the island (staying close so you don’t go near the main channel where the cruise ships are), use kayaks, hot and cold tubs and fishing gear.
− The upstairs bathroom had a laundry room closet the needed aired out. There was a strong smell (not sure if maybe laundry soaps, cleaning chemicals, or mildew) that gave us a headache to sleep in that room without the windows wide open to air it out. There are many bedrooms so we ended up all sleeping comfortably on the main floor.
